Add an analytics data connector

Enable the available vulnerability feed, understand scheduled refresh, and identify sources that are not available in this release.

Access Admin or owner to add; authorized users to inspect statusConsole path /admin/connectors

Before you start

  • An administrator for connector creation.
  • A selected organization with installed software inventory if vulnerability matching is needed.

Screenshots show the Rapport interface with example data. Use your organization’s devices and values. Select an image to view it at full size.

Review configured and available sources

Open Admin → Connectors. Configured lists sources already present and their status, health detail, and last sync when available. Available connectors lists sources that have not been added. Wait for the configured list to load before selecting a source; a load error does not mean no connectors exist.

Use the status and last-sync evidence on configured sources. Coming soon cards do not have operational setup controls.

Add the live vulnerability feed

Find CVE feed (NVD + CISA KEV) and choose Add connector. This adds the source to the selected organization. The feed matches the actively exploited vulnerability catalog to installed software and syncs daily at 06:00 UTC. The first ingestion runs with the next scheduled sync; there is no manual sync button for this edge-scheduled connector in this console.

Confirm ingestion rather than only configuration

Return to the configured row after the scheduled run and inspect Connected, Degraded, Error, or Not connected, its health detail, Last sync, and any error message. Then inspect vulnerability-dependent analytics and patch views. A connector row existing in Configured is not evidence that fresh upstream data has arrived.

Recognize unavailable sources before planning a workflow

Rezolve Asset Management, Dell TechDirect, Cost inputs, and HRIS / directory are labeled Coming soon in this release. They have no operational add/sync action, even if an older configured row exists. Analytics that require one of these sources remain not connected until a working connector is delivered; do not infer warranty, purchase, HRIS, or cost data from a catalog card.

If something doesn’t work

Add connector is disabled.

Only admins can add connectors. Confirm your organization role and that the source is a live offering rather than Coming soon.

The feed has no data immediately after adding it.

Its first sync runs on the next daily schedule at 06:00 UTC. Check the subsequent Last sync and status; the console does not currently trigger this feed manually.

A dependent widget still says not connected.

Check the source’s actual sync state and whether the required connector is supported. Also verify the endpoint has the software inventory needed for vulnerability matching.
